A Peaceful Art Pair in a Calm Pastel Palette
I have another entry in my ongoing art pair series. I started this series over a year ago as a way of showcasing the work of other artists, and of showing how modern graphic prints can enhance and be enhanced by work in other styles. This time, I asked Bonnie of Bonnie Lecat Designs to provide an image for the series. She sent me her Barn Owl print.
It didn't take me long to choose Grove as being the perfect fit to go with Bonnie's lovely delicate owl. They share a woodland theme, and calm cool pastel tones.
These two prints would look wonderful together anywhere you wanted to introduce a peaceful, woodsy mood. I can definitely see them hanging in a cool bedroom or a cozy cabin in the woods.
You could hang the two works side-by-side, or as part of a larger gallery wall. Here I've placed Grove below the Barn Owl Print. The parallel lines of Grove draw the eye up to the Barn Owl, metaphorically perched in the trees.
