What are the terms for free shipping?

Free standard shipping is available for all Canadian and US orders.

When will my art ship?

I do my best to get orders out within 2-4 business days. You will receive an email when your order ships. However, if you need a rush art fix, please let me know and I will make every effort to put some beautiful in your hands ASAP.

When will I receive my art in the U.S.A.?

Your order is shipped Canada Post/USPS Small Packet. From the time it is shipped it will take 4-8 business days. Upgraded Xpresspost items will take 2-3 business days.

When will I receive my art in Canada?

Items are shipped Canada Post with tracking. From the time they are shipped they will arrive in 2-7 business days. Upgraded Xpresspost items will take 1-2 business days. 

When will I receive my International Order?

Items are shipped Canada Post without tracking and generally arrive in 6-10 business days after they are shipped, but may take longer based on destination. Upgraded Tracked Packet International items will take 4-9 business days. 

What about Duties & Customs?

PLEASE NOTE: We do not pay any duties, custom fees, or any other associated fees. These fees are the responsibility of the customer. For customs information including any fees that may be incurred on your end before purchasing please check with your local post office or on the web. Every country varies. We are not responsible for any delays that may happen at customs.

What is the return policy?

Your home is your nest and your story. If you aren't completely delighted with your art, you can return it within 30 days for a refund. Items purchased between November 1st and December 25th can be returned anytime until January 15th of the following year. Please email janet@householdart.com to arrange a return. Shipping fees are not refundable.

My Art Arrived Damaged. What should I do?

Please notify me immediately if art was damaged in transit so I can immediately file insurance claims and arrange a replacement. 

My Art Never Arrived. What should I do?

Domestic packages are deemed “lost” after 30 days from the shipment date. US and International packages are deemed “lost” after 60 days from shipment date. I cannot consider a packages “lost” until after the posted date. Please wait until that time to contact me. I will then replace the missing item if it is available. If the print is no longer available, you will be given a refund in the form of account credit for any lost item.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, as well as payment via PayPal.

How secure is this store?

This store uses Shopify payments via Stripe and PayPal for payments.  Your confidential information is encrypted in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).  

Is artwork available framed?

Unfortunately, no. The added cost of shipping, packaging for safe shipment, and insurance mean that it would cost you more to have the artwork framed by us and shipped to you than to work with your local framer or frame the print yourself. Most of our prints are sized to fit nicely into standard frame and mat sizes.
